• A lighter sponge than big chunky brother apple crumble. Nicely flavoured but personally would of liked a bit more lemon, but that’s a personal taste. A great cuppa and this cake perfect xx

• I arranged for the cake to be delivered to my best friend and her boyfriend as she is needing to shield at present. They LOVED it. Such an original gift and the cake was incredible.

• The cake was moist, light and utterly delicious. The butter cream in the middle was a great idea and really made it special. Just divine.

• We thought the sponge and buttercream were excellent! But it was spoiled by the large amount of caster sugar on the top. The cake would be perfect if there was just white chocolate drizzle on and no added caster sugar.
