• I ordered the lemon drizzle for my Mums birthday this week- it was a bit try this time. I ordered one in November which was very moist.

• Beautiful sponge with a fresh flavour just the right amount of buttercream. The sponge kept soft for 5 days by which time we had finished it!

• Very nice sponge: good quality crumb and good proportion of filling. One star short of five as, for me, a lemon drizzle should zing with a really strong lemon kick to both filling and topping: this was perfectly tasty, but polite rather than punchy!

• Light, tasty and maintained its freshness well. We have had a few cakes now and all have been wonderful. Sent them as gifts too and they’ve really been appreciated.

• Lemon drizzle cake tasted great, with just the right amount of lemon. Sponge had a great texture and very generous size for 8 pieces. It was eaten very quickly! The cake arrived, nicely packed and protected.

• I love lemon drizzle and can sometimes be a bit disappointed with shop bought ones. However, do not fear, this one was light, lemony and very more ish!!!
