• Superb lemon flavour, really yummy, very generous size. Great packaging meant cake arrived safely.

• Great Lemon drizzle cake it said for 16 but we got over 20 slices and even more left. Delivery was next day, cake packaged well and the cake was fresh moist and lovely. Ive already recommended Sponge to others. Thanks.

• Purchased a lemon drizzle cake as a gift. The whole experience was great from beginning to end. The ordering process was smooth and straightforward; the cake was delivered when it was supposed to be, in perfect condition. I didn't get to taste it myself but the recipients have given the cake rave reviews. Would absolutely order from this site again.

• Bought this as an Easter Cake for my mum who I cannot visit at the moment. She said it’s the most delicious lemon cake she’s ever had & as she’s 80, she cuts it in to pieces, freezes it then gets to enjoy it fresh each time!

• I received my 3rd Sponge cake last werk! This one was 'Lemon Drizzle', but it wasn't as lemony as I expected and also it dried out quickly which was a shame. What I did do though, was put my slice in the microwave for a few seconds on 'low' and it greatly improved the cake texture, and made it moist again!

• Can afford to make it more lemony. The lemon wasn't strong in the sponge which was light and fluffy and although lemony in the middle the creaminess was the stronger of the flavours. To summarise; add more lemon!

• Stale texture - I bake regularly and foolishly thought the "Sponge" cake would be better than mine - mine feel like the 'Sponge' version after 2 weeks in the tin!!!. I ordered lemon drizzle - what arrived was a plane sponge with lemon butter cream so very disappointing. Never again!
