• This was a birthday present for my mum and she absolutely loved it - she has made occasion cakes in the past and complimented how delicious it was

• The cake was moorish and tasted of real coffee. The sponge was wonderfully light and moist, and the creamy middle layer and topping had just the right thickness - rich but not sickly. The fact that the coffee beans on top are made of chocolate added an extra lovely touch. The (grown-up) birthday boy was delighted with his surprise treat.

• I was unable to make my husband’s cake as usual and was concerned about ordering on line. I need not have worried! I ordered on Monday, the cake was delivered on Wednesday, despite ice and snow, and I was delighted with the outcome. Excellent service and a lovely cake. I would recommend you.

• Not my first 'Sponge' cake, but my first order & delivery. Brilliant & efficient website & ordering process which made it easy & fast from start to finish. The cake itself was delicious & worth every penny (and was a lot less stressful than baking myself!)

• Coffee cake had a rich tasty sponge. The buttercream was lush,only criticism if any could of added a little more topping and an idea walnut's would of topped it off.

• I liked the texture of the sponge it's quite dense but when you bite into it it's so surprisingly light ,I liked the chocolate beans on top that makes a change from walnuts .

• On this occasion the coffee sponge was gifted to my Mother as she had been released from hospital as I am in the extremely vulnerable group and still shielding I could not visit. This was for Mum to share with my sisters when they visited her. It was enjoyed by all.

• It could have tasted better if there was also frosting around the cake and not just layered. It would have looked more like a real cake. The cakebox was also torn upon receipt. And the package was delivered upside down.

• I've only ever sent your sponges to other people before, but this one I actually got to see for myself and eat (well share)! Previously when I have read "serves 8" I have anticipated relatively small slices, now I know different! The taste had just the right balance of flavour, the texture remained fresh for days - we absolutely loved it!
