• We ordered the chocolate cake for my son’s birthday, was loved by everyone this is my 5 time ordering from sponge and always excellent service from start to finish thank You.

• I would have welcomed the chance to review it but it didn't arrive fresh.

• I can only tell you what my daughter and grandson said it was well packed and presented, the cake was very moist and flavoursome.

• Expected it to be a bit more luxurious for the money but it was ok.

• Also for my son and his family, my 5 grandsons said it was the best chocolate cake they had ever tasted.

• The best chocolate sponge! Will continue ordering from Sponge as all their products have as good as expected.

• Granddaughter loved it! It was her 19th birthday and she lives 300 miles away from us in England so being able to send her a birthday cake especially a chocolate one (her favourite) made her birthday even better and made me feel part of it

• Great flavour, maybe a little dryer than thw others, but I think that may just be the downfall of chocolate cake lol. Really good cake!

• Delicious, soft sponge, smooth buttercream, topped with shards of milk chocolate - what more could you possibly want! My autistic son who has an eating disorder ate it - I can give no higher praise than that!

• Lovely sponge. Ordered many times before. Slightly pricey for what it is but very convenient when no time to bake. I added more chocolate frosting on the top and round the sides as there wasn’t enough. But always happy with your cakes.

• The cake was absolutely gorgeous. The sponges were both very thick and moist, and the frosting was very chocolatey, but wasn't overly rich and sickly which was the perfect balance. Would definitely recommend and order again.
