• The cake was as a birthday gift for my sister to add some indulgence to her lockdown birthday. It was a great success, she was delighted by the taste and quality. It was fresh, well risen and with the right balance of cake and filling.

• Dear Sir I did complain about my order and, having done so, I never received a reply. I considered rather discourteous. I complained through your page on Facebook. Briefly, I would have liked 13 May (My Uncle's 92nd Birthday). You couldn't manage it then either, and gave delivery for 14th. That didn't happen either. Cake aging in transit. Need I say more? Happy, for my uncle No, a resounding no!

• I ordered two chocolate cakes for my colleagues and they went down very well. They arrived in perfect condition, beautifully presented and I'm told they were delicious!

• The cake was HUGE and easily gave 16 generous slices. Lovely flavour and good layer of icing in the middle. Would have liked a slightly thicker topping and the chocolate flakes went everywhere. Well packaged for delivery, but would have been nice to have box to keep the cake in as my cake tins were all too small.

• A wonderful chocolate cake. The buttercream was lovely. Ordering was simple. Delivery arrived on time in a very solid and sturdy cardboard box. Make sure you leave it t warm up before serving.

• My boys love this cake - the texture is exactly right, the cream filling is generous and not too sweet. The decoration is a lovely personal touch (didn't have one this time and the topping was excellent).

• We really enjoyed it but wished it was smaller. The sponge was larger than I anticipated so it took a week for the two of us to finish it. It was delicious though!
