• Everyone loved it. Easily enough for 16 slices, slicing guide helpful, there were no complaints!

• My daughter wanted a ‘Victoria sandwich mum. Just plain and simple’ for her 18th!! No fuss...not loads of icing but just a great tasting cake with the right quantities of butter cream and jam. Let’s just say she was thrilled and it was ‘the best cake ever mum’

• some think there is too much buttercream in the victoria sandwich, and therefore it's a bit sickly. They can always scrape some out of their portion.!!

• Loved it very tasty. As this was bought for a 60th Birthday only disappointment was the late delivery. After paying extra to have delivery before 12.30pm did not get it until late afternoon.

• I have ordered the Victoria sponge a few times in the past as it's my favourite. The sponge is perfect - melts in your mouth. Buttercream and jam - all I can say is WOW. Absolutely gorgeous and it's hard to resist. I now cut the cake in half and put half in the freezer! Works well as it's something to look forward to when you fancy a treat. If I could I would order one a week they are so delicious!!!
