• I do love this cake, the buttercream is very nice. The cake has real substance, I like the fact that it is not light and fluffy!

• The cake came on the Wednesday as it was the only day I was home. I opened them on Saturday and covered in buttercream for a party on the Sunday. They were perfect and still super spongy. Could not have been more pleased ! Thank you !

My one year old grandson got his hands on a slice that I had packed in a take away box with two other slices for his mum and dad, in the back of the car. His mum looked in her mirror, and there he was, face covered in cream, and he had woofed the whole slice!

• some think there is too much buttercream in the victoria sandwich, and therefore it's a bit sickly. They can always scrape some out of their portion.!!
