• Moist light and absolutely delicious. Disappeared very quickly.

• I loved the blend of chocolate and caramel that was not too sweet. The butter icing was the best part. The cake was delivered on 23rd to be eaten on 26th and it tasted moist and fresh. Thanks to the packaging too. My only gripe is that the plastic Happy Birthday topper broke as soon as I tried to insert it! Otherwise it would have been 5 stars

• My family couldn't believe the cake was gluten free, it was one of the options I used for our Christmas desserts. Very soft and very tasty

• It was excellent to find a company which offered a gluten free range of products. The cake was bought for my son’s 14th birthday. Simple to order, delivered in plenty of time and it tasted amazing. Very moist and the ratio of cake to icing was perfect so it wasn’t sickly sweet but still indulgent.

• Excellent cake, sometimes gluten free can come dry with a crumbly texture. This was lovely well flavoured and was enjoyed by all!

• Actually tasted of what it was, many GF are very disappointing. This was a joy.

• Lovely moist cake - wouldn't know it was GF. Delivery was very fast and we opened it 2 days after arrival and it was still perfectly fresh.

• Loved the double layer of the cake , so moist and flavoursome. Definitely couldnt tell it was gluten free .

• This made a nice change as we normally have the chocolate cake. The sponge was light and fluffy the buttercream had a nice caramel taste to it. I would guess the sponge was made using oil which always makes a better sponge as it was not dry and claggy

• This is the second Gluten Free cake ordered for a lockdown special birthday and my son and family thoroughly enjoyed it. They said it felt like a having a home made cake delivered and tasted wonderful. Thank you team Sponge!

• So hard to get a good gluten free sponge. I was so impressed, beautiful flavour and texture . Very happy, would thoroughly recommend!!

• My daughter tells me it’s the best gluten free cake she has had, and she’s a cake expert! She said it was moist and light and tasted delicious. The info that came with it said it would last 7 days, she said not a chance, they would eat it in 2!

• I was a little worried that this cake might be a bit too sweet but it was perfect. I had the Gluten Free option so everyone could enjoy the same cake. It was enjoyed by all of us. Certainly not as sweet as some of the Gluten Free sponges that I have previously had.
