• I bought this cake for my daughter and I was so pleased with it. As she has only recently been diagnosed with coeliac I wanted it to be good and it certainly was. One of her daughters actually helped herself to the last piece so it must have been as good as an ordinary cake.

• Really beautiful cake chocolate and caramel swirled together. Caramel pieces on the top and wonderful buttercream. My favourite is still the Victoria sponge but this is a close second. Oh and the apple crumble. That's devine.

• I was so worried ordering a cake online! Especially a gluten free cake but it was amazing! The size is huge for the 8 people. Sponge nice and moist, lovely marble affect in the sponge and amazing butter cream in the middle! The delivery let it down as i wasn't given the 1hr time slot so literally had to wait in all day in case I missed it! Would definitely buy from here again. So glad I found this website for my gluten free sister!

• Delicious cake which was not overly sweet. Light and fluffy texture. Did not seem GF as it held together well and had a great flavour. Thoroughly recommend!

• You gluten free cakes are always tasty, and not dry like some are, my family think they are great even though they could have ‘normal ‘ cakes

• what a fab cake for my partner's birthday! It was very tasty and the portion sizes were decent for 8 people. I wanted to get a cake that was a cut above the standard high-street gluten free cakes because they always look a little bit basic. The flavours of chocolate and caramel really went well together and my partner was delighted

• The cake was generously filled and iced. The decoration was attractive and the very light sponge tasted superb! No-one would have known it was gluten free!

• This cake was outstanding. So moist and held together so well when cutting it you wouldn't beleive it was gluten-free. I will be using Sponge for all future GF celebration cakes. Worth every penny.

• All of your other cakes have had a better texture and not been as sweet, this was too sweet and very crumbly the Elizabeth and carrot cake have had a much better texture

• Cake was moist and delicious. The first time I’ve had a 16 slice, it looked like a special occasion cake and tasted like one. As an update, I previously bought the individual cakes and they were great having frozen and defrosted them.

• The cake was delicious. Very moist, great taste and lots of icing. It was for my wife who is gluten intolerant however I am not and I would gladly have it even if I didn't need a GF cake - it was delicious.

• gluten free food is so often basic and flavour/imagination poor. this is moist, flavourful, good texture and looks great. so lovely to find something "normal" for a coeliac!!

• Presently surprised the cake made it through the UK's postal service completely unscathed and delivered in time to one happy 9year old. Finding a gluten free cake of that size for that price was music to my ears. I will definitely be using Sponge again
