• I bought the cakes for a birthday gift for my mum , I couldn’t get the delivery for her birthday but it’s a difficult time and it was a welcome treat when they arrived . They arrived ai a lovely box with a bottle of bubbles and she loved the cute , treat sizes of the cakes . My mum loved the bakewell , carrot cake but she insisted they are all delicious .

• There is a wonderful selection of cakes and the baby sponges are great for people living alone. The cakes arrive extremely well packed and in really good condition. Please can you put instructions on storage in the delivery because there may be misunderstandings on how long the product stay fresh for..

• Amazing! Such a lovely idea when you can’t be with loved ones! I ordered 2 lots of the mini sponges, 1 for my brother and one for my Mum and both loved them! My mums were early for her birthday so she kept them for 4 days after delivery and they were still perfect when she came to eat them! Lovely presentation and value for money! So so pleased!

• I have always found the ordering very easy to use. The emails and texts updating me regarding delivery are always appreciated. The cakes are well presented and devoured immediately.

• This experience is for multiple orders being delivered at numerous addresses around the UK. It was my wife's 40th birthday and I wanted to celebrate as much as possible despite social distancing. These deliveries went to close family and friends who all videoed a happy birthday song and candle, which were sent to my wife on her birthday. It was almost like we were there in person and now have fantastic keepsakes to remember.

• Well what can I say!! I ordered these for my parents who are in isolation due to Coronavirus. We could not all get together for their birthdays so we sent them cake as a surprise. They loved everything about them ‘there were even serviettes’. The cakes were wonderful and my dad has asked me to order them some more. Also as Sponge is in Holt (I live in Norfolk) we were able to support a local business. Thank you very much

• What a clever idea. So much choice on offer, all tastes and diets catered for.

• Issue was they were over 2 weeks out of date. I was told the wrong ticket put on. Sorry not happy about that sponge was not fresh i work in food safety policies and that is not a justified answer. My 80 year old grandma could have eaten that. An apology no good will or anything i to instill any confidence with the product and i had to ask for a refund.

• A great idea, to be able to send four small sponges, ideal for someone living on their own. Also great to be able to choose different flavours. I spent hours trying to find a company to deliver a cake to my brother on his birthday, came across Sponge and couldn't be simpler to choose and order.Great product, well packed delivered on time and delicious!

• All the flavours I ordered tasted just as you would hope, distinctive flavours but not overpowering. I ordered carrot, chocolate, coffee and bakewell . They were light, moist, perfectly flavoured and sandwiched with delicious icing. The flavours do not encroach into the other cakes as so well packaged.

• My order was for my son and his family. This year I was not able to share the birthday celebrations - or cake, unfortunately. But they all enjoyed them. They didn’t last long. General opinion was “very yummy”
