• Once we realised that it needed to be a room temperature (our fault thinking keeping in the fridge would keep fresh) we all agreed that these sponges were some of the best we had tasted. Beautifully zesty lemon cake, the red velvet was melt in the mouth and the double chocolate had my husband salivating between every bite.

• I ordered a mixture of 8 baby sponges and they went down a treat. The sponge was lovely and soft and tasted really good. I would definitely recommend! Looking forward to purchasing more in the future ❤

• I chose the baby cakes as it was my elderly Uncles birthday. He lives on his own so thought the bigger cake would be too much for him. His favorite cake is chocolate so I chose him 2 chocolate and 2 Victoria sponges for a bit of variety. His words on receiving them were" I have tried the cakes they are fantastic"! "It was a lovely thought" So one very happy Uncle!!!

• This was a gift....so have not tasted myself, however my mother loved them! Will be placing an order for myself & husband soon!

• What does the heading 'Choose 4 Baby Sponges (optional)' mean to me? If it relates to the box below well that has 5 stars + 1 extra...... Cakes were OK, naturally flavours are a very subjective choice and the wrapping was cheap and not too easy to open. Cakes were a little firm, maybe an extra day old? But still fine to eat.

• My overall feeling is a very positive one. Being able to send a slice of cake in an appropriate card, I think is a great idea. I sent one to my grandson just for a 'socially distanced hug'. I have also sent 4 mini sponge cakes to my son and his family as a 'here's a treat until we can all meet up' surprise and have also sent a cake to my son for his birthday. Irrespective of these difficult times, I can see there always being a place for this service, especially the cake cards. They have all been well received and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
