• The baby sponges were a birthday surprise for my son as I couldn't take him a home baked cake this time. He commented how appealing they looked and that he had fun deciding which one to try first. He remarked that they were all very tasty. The packaging being mostly recyclable is a definite plus in our eyes. I will definitely be ordering from Sponge again and will recommend to my friends.

I search online and randomly found Sponge Cakes Ltd to order a surprise birthday cake for my sister’s birthday. I ordered the Baby Sponge Cakes -pack of 4. The box was beautiful wrapped. She said the cakes tasted really good and not too sweet which is what she prefer. The cakes arrived on the requested date even during lockdown! Great that you can track the cake when it is in the bakery, the moment it is on the road to the moment that DHL delivered to the doorstep and they even provide you a photo as well. Most important of all is that all the cakes were intact and not damaged during transportation. I totally recommend Sponge Bakery Ltd...really happy with their services and will order again to surprise another lucky person ?

• It was a gift but the recipient was impressed by the unique presentation which allowed the semblance of 4 different celebration cakes. They went down a treat!

• I was slightly disappointed by about 6 out of 8 cakes being average tasting but the others lovely. I'd have been much happier if theyd all tasted as good as the last two. However I do have v high standards and other people may not be able to tell the difference. I noticed that the two good ones were much more buttery and flavorful than the others.
