• It was beautiful and tasty on the first day. There after it sadly dried out ,not what we expected.

• Sponge was soft and light, not dry. Kept at room temperature icing and filling were at their best.

• Lovely taste and consistency we warmed it up it was even better and had it warm with ice cream soooooo yummmmyy ?

• It was a gift for Easter so I only saw a photograph, it looked impressive and the packaging and presentation was great. The recipient was delighted, it was delivered on time, and was delicious. Lovely gifting idea!

• I ordered a cake for my boyfriend's birthday and he was absolutely thrilled. Phenomenal cake with the perfect ratio of cake and icing. Very moist and beautifully presented. I would highly recommend this cake and I'm excited to try the different types!

• It looked impressive and was really nicely packaged but I was disappointed with the overall taste of the red velvet cake. Ordered it for my sons 13th birthday as thats what he wanted. For the money I paid for what is a fairly simple cake I expected much better. It was simply too dry. It was stored at room temperature as instructed and although the cream filling was really nice, the layers of sponge cake were very dry. Disappointing overall.

• This was my second order from Sponge, after trying the red velvet in a mini sponge i just had to order a whole one. Delivery was great, it was well packed so it arrived perfectly, and the cake tastes amazing. Would definitely order this again.

• Red velvet cake is my favourite, so I didn't want to risk trying to make one myself over Valentines and getting it wrong! Your cake was absolutely delicious, and brilliant quality! • Not the best red velvet I've ever had but certainly not the worst. Sponge was lovely. I would have preferred a slightly softer buttercream for the centre.
