• I have ordered from sponge a few times now, various cakes & cake cards. Cake is good but slightly expensive.

• Beautiful freshly baked sponge cake. What more can I say. It was for my wife's birthday and she loves red velvet cake. It was moist, spongy and full of flavour just like a sponge should be! Amazing to have these delivered to the door especiallly as I cannot bake!

Maybe this one is a a bit less creamy? not sure.. sorry if this is not so helpful. I'll order again though on the hope that the next one will be tastier ?

• Sent to my Daughter as she was isolating with Covid and I had to cancel plans to spend my Birthday with her, she said the cake was “huge” and tasted amazing,red velvet is her favourite so if it wasn’t good she would have said! she put half of it in freezer, she said you would never know the cake had travelled all the way from England to Scotland! Delivery driver also followed my instructions to leave at flat door and leave prior to her answering (as she had covid)

• Beautifully baked to perfection, delicious sponge with just enough of the frosting - absolutely love that there is thick layer of sponge and just a tiny bit of frosting in the middle, as frosting is super sweet, sponge isn't that much, so all together it balances out just perfectly in taste.

• This sponge was just perfect. I used it as a base for my daughter's birthday cake - I just added some frosting and sprinkles on the outside and all the guests complimented the cake very much (the taste obviously!)
