• I ordered the gluten free lemon drizzle cake for my husband’s birthday. He thought it was delicious, light and incredibly moorish. We all enjoyed it.

• For my taste it was not lemony enough but all in all we enjoyed the sponge.

Gluten free baking can sometimes be rather leaden and over-crumbly, but this one was deliciously light and moist and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. I'm not a great cake-eater.......but I think I've just been converted. Thanks.

The universal opinion of attendees, and my own, was that it was slightly too sweet compared to the other cakes. With previous cakes from Sponge I hadn't noticed, but in comparison to others it was very obvious.

• We have tried a few gluten free sites but this is just the best. Would never use anyone else again. If you are gluten free you have to try these. You really wouldn't know the difference.
