• Have bought several GF cakes and they have always been superb. The lemon drizzle cake is moist and very tasty.

• Absolutely delicious soft to the last mouth full , Lovely and lemony (my granddaughter 8 was crying because she is Celiac as well and her school had a bake sale for a little girl who has cancer so she wanted to give her money but there was nothing Gluten Free ! So she just put her money in anyway ,She was so upset)! Anyway I ordered this cake to cheer her up because i didn't want her to be sad ! She said it was the best of your cake's so far and next time she is going to get one for the bake sale as it looks like a real one lol ! So it was a winner all round thank you so much to all involved at "Sponge" to some it's just a cake but to my granddaughter it was so much more !!!

The universal opinion of attendees, and my own, was that it was slightly too sweet compared to the other cakes. With previous cakes from Sponge I hadn't noticed, but in comparison to others it was very obvious.

• We have tried a few gluten free sites but this is just the best. Would never use anyone else again. If you are gluten free you have to try these. You really wouldn't know the difference.

• Tiny bit more lemon possibly. There was a slight crunchiness - not unpleasant - of undissolved sugar. But I would order again and our guests enjoyed the cake.
