Storage & Care

Our gluten free cakes are made in a separate kitchen to our standard cakes, by a team who will only work in that kitchen all day and do not move between kitchens. Ingredients are stored separately and no equipment is shared between the gluten free kitchen and the kitchen where the rest of our cakes are made.

  • Absolutely delicious cake! I was worried that it might be dry, as it was gluten free and didn't have a filling, but I was so wrong - it was moist and really lovely. If I hadn't known it was gluten free, I wouldn't have been able to tell, which is fantastic because so often gluten free cake is crumbly and disappointing. I would definitely recommend this cake if you're having a gathering with someone who can't eat wheat.

  • This cake was a real melt-in-the-mouth creation. I almost went into a trance when I had a piece. I love banana cake, and this one mixed so beautifully with the chocolate additions. It really should be a bigger size, like the almond bakewell cake! I was trying to make it last - but alas, as cake is the true love of my life, that was not possible...! Please keep this flavour - I will definitely be ordering again. Was a smashing surprise for my birthday - thank you so much!

Banana and chocolate are a match made in heaven, we often think of it in banana bread, so we thought why not make it a gluten free cake? Banana bread is such a well-loved treat, and a great way to get rid of unwanted or over ripe bananas. We took the principles of chocolate banana bread, using over ripe bananas smashing them and mixing them into our gluten free cake recipe, and this means we get a great natural banana flavoured sponge. We mix in some chocolate chips for a chocolatey kick, and we finish it all off with a drizzle of chocolate on top.
