• Never had a vegan cake before but wanted a chocolate cake As it was on offer I ordered It was amazing. I didn’t know what to expect but I would never be frightened of ordering vegan again

• My only criticism is the delivery issue, where the driver tipped the cake on its side. This is clearly not your fault but maybe something to mention to the couriers you use. The cake itself was beautiful and timescale for delivery was great and on time. I will definitely be using Sponge again.

• It was a really good vegan cake. You couldn't tell it was vegan. Tasted delicious, really moist and kept well overnight (didn't last any longer than that!). Really pleased and have already ordered another for colleagues!

• Very, very dry sponge. I have had vegan cakes before and can even bake one myself, it can still be moist and tasty. This one felt like eating cardboard! Pity the children waiting for a birthday party treat ending up wasting most on their plates.

• The cake was really moist and chocolaty. So pleased that there was more cake than icing, so often these cakes are none existent due to the amount of icing.
