• This cake is simply delicious. Moist, chocolatey and the buttercream is perfect. One of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had! I ordered this for my partner who is coeliac. Both him, myself and all the guests who had a slice couldn't believe it was gluten free. I will absolutely use Sponge again.

• The cake was delicious loved by all the family especially the person the cake was bought for, in the past it has been difficult to find a good quality gluten free cake the standard and taste of this cake was outstanding.

• Haven’t eaten it yet as it arrived late and so I had to buy a cake elsewhere. Had it before and it’s normally great.

• The cake looked beautiful, was lovely and moist and tasted wonderful. I cannot fault it and would recommend it in a heartbeat. May well order it again next year for our daughter's birthday. Unlike may gluten free items, you would never know this wasn't a regular chocolate cake and that is a huge plus.

• My daughter is celiac and getting a good GF Cake has been difficult (they tend to be a little dry). I’ve now had a few cakes from Sponges and they’ve all been delicious. This chocolate cake was very light and not too sweet.

• We have found gluten free cakes hit and miss but this one did not disappoint. As soon as I saw it in the box I was excited, once we ate it I was so impressed. Plenty to go around, which was great because everyone wanted a second piece.

• This is the third time I have ordered a GF cake. Have tried the millionaire and chocolate. Lovely moist sponge and nice buttercream - not too sickly, just right. Nice consistency.

• It's difficult to find tasty gluten-free cakes for celebrations. Glad to order this one for my daughter's 21st birthday, who recently became gluten intolerant. So wanted to show her she won't be missing out.

• This was a scrumptious, moist chocolate cake, and my daughter in law, who is gluten intolerant was well impressed and commented that it was the best gluten free cake she had had. We will definitely be ordering again

• Delicious but a little drier

• GF cakes can be a bit hit and miss in my experience, often a little powdery tasting, but this cake was lovely and just the right consistency. It was enjoyed by all and was generously portioned to feed the whole party.
