A chocolate orange cake with a light marbled sponge of orange oil & chocolate sandwiched with delicious chocolate buttercream.

Our Chocolate and Orange Sponge Cake has a light marbled sponge flavoured with natural orange oil swirled into our beautifully moist chocolate sponge. The cake is held together with a generous layer of chocolate orange buttercream and a pretty drizzle effect on the top.

Storage & Care

  • Always good from sponge. I ordered it to arrive a couple of days in advance as I've had one arrive a bit late before and didn't want it to happen again. Unfortunately it was made before the weekend, then posted and arrived after the weekend, two days before the birthday as expected, so it was on time but by the time we opened it for the birthday it was nearly a week old and you could really tell.

You can freeze your chocolate orange cake for up to 6 months - either whole in the original packaging straight away or you can wrap and freeze some slices you have left. Don't ever let your Sponge Cake go to waste! Most don’t make it to the freezer but it’s good to know!

STORAGE - Please store me in an air-tight container in a cosy spot - I don't like being kept in the fridge. Can be frozen for up to 6 months.
