• I think one of the best you produce but icing far to generous. Less is more ?

• The carrot cake was moist and full of flavour and it served a generous 8 portions which could have easily served 10 people too!

• It was superb. Very good flavour and not too heavy in the spice as some carrot cakes can be. Lots of lovely walnuts and plenty of frosting while staying light and moist. It was a big hit with my guests.

• Really loved the carrot cake - moist and delicious and not bland like a lot of cakes you can buy online - just like a home-made version - although when I make it I don't supply my recipients with it in a beautiful box, candles and Fentimans raspberry lemonade and Ginger beer!
