• Dry sponge cake - carrot cake should be moist! Subtle spice flavour, with walnuts. No juicy sultanas. Beautifully thick and creamy butter icing or would have been only 2 stars. Very mediocre cake, on par with carrot cake from Waitrose. Unlikely to order again.

• We ordered a carrot cake for our son's birthday and absolutely loved it. It was well presented and tasted amazing. I would highly recommend. Well done SPONGE!

• Absolutely fantastic company. After receiving the baby cakes as a gift during lockdown, we decided to send the 8 piece Carrot Cake to my dad for father’s day. • Really loved the carrot cake - moist and delicious and not bland like a lot of cakes you can buy online - just like a home-made version - although when I make it I don't supply my recipients with it in a beautiful box, candles and Fentimans raspberry lemonade and Ginger beer!
