• A very good vegan option with a good texture and taste!

• An outstandingly flavourful, mouthwatering and satisfying sponge, with an excellent 'buttercream' that is by no means sweet and certainly not sickly in the way standard manufactured-for-supermarkets buttercreams are. This cake satifies without sitting heavily after consumption. I bought the medium-size which adequately serves the recommended number of portions. However, the jam layer is somewhat lacking, which was disappointing.

• Vegan cake was delicious, I bought it for a friends birthday., and the whole family is vegan. They all loved it. We ordered the Victoria sponge cake, paired with alpro soya cream it was amazing.

• To have vegan and gluten free is a bonus, for people that cannot tolerate the 'ordinary' sponges.

• Highly Recommended! I have an egg allergy and was recommended Sponge who cater for a variety of dietary requirements. I was exceptionally impressed with this cake - there are no artificial ingredients, the sponge is flavourful and moist, and the jam/buttercream filling is midly sweet without being sickly. I will be purchasing another in the near future for general consumption!

• Lush Victoria sponge - really delicious! The sponge was melt in your mouth and the buttercream perfect (not at all sickly like some buttercream). Can highly recommend it! Thanks Sponge 😃

• the icing sugar on vegan Victoria Sponge was dissolved (due to humidity I think). I did not dusted it again, as the cake was a bit too sweet for our taste, but still very tasty.

• The vegan victoria sponge was enjoyed by all - vegans and non-vegans. The cake was a lovely texture and although the buttercream was quite sweet it went well with the less sweet sponge. Would definitely order a cake from Sponge again.

• All I would say is it looks very plain so I added vegan butter icing and sweet sprinkles. I didn’t mind doing that at all. But the taste was incredible esp for a vegan cake as I know how hard it is to get right. I won’t look any where else now when I need a vegan cake as you get them often.

• The cake itself too sweet for my liking but moist and generally tasty. I haven't tried a lot of vegan cakes but this one seems to be really really good. I will definitely recommend!!!

• Found the cake quite heavy, but this meant you were full with smaller piece.Cake was nice. Daughter liked it with custard(dairy free) Son has with cream (d free)

• This sponge was so light and so moist that it lasted for almost a week. It may have lasted longer but it was too delicious

• Bought this for two people I knew were vegan. One of them thought it was horrible - mainly to do with the "cream" I think. The other said it was okay but complained of an after-taste shortly afterwards. I wouldn't buy this again as these people were happy to eat the standard cakes we had on offer which were suitable for vegetarians
