• This was a joint birthday cake for 2 married friends, one of them coeliac. They've tried many gluten free options over the years and this was given a huge seal of approval. Nice to have a flavour that was a bit different too.

• Lovely cake we could not stop eating it. The handling and packaging for delivery showed it was made with attention to detail, care and good quality ingredients.

• Sponge make the nicest gluten free cakes. We haven’t tried the normal because we do not have gluten in the house as our daughter is coeliac. Your cakes are always so moist and last forever! It is a struggle to buy nice gluten free cakes so, we are delighted to have found you. We have used you for years and and will recommend to all!

• Impressive service, especially during a pandemic! My only criticism is that it would have been nice to have been able to fill in a "present from" label to include with it, rather than having to buy a birthday card. I had to tell my friend that it was from me, as I had already sent a card and there wasn't any way for me to include a delivery note with the cake......it arrived and she had no idea who had sent it!

• THIS CAKE WAS MOIST AND SOOOO TASTY, IT WAS FOR MY WIFES BIRTHDAY, SHE IS A GOOD BAKER AND SHE WAS SUPER IMPRESSED WITH IT, WE GAVE SOME TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND THEY ALL LOVED IT TOO. MY WIFE HAS A NUT ALLERGY AND EATS GLUTEN FREE SO THIS WAS PERFECT, IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD DO ANOTHER FLAVOUR WITHOUT NUTS, WE WOULD BE SURE TO BIUY EVEN MORE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

• This apple crumble gluten free cake is so moist and delicious you will double check you have the right cake! The cake is moist and has a nice slice, the apple bits and sultanas are plump, the cinnamon sugar crumble topping is super sweet and melts in your mouth, the buttercream frosting is delicious. I love the different gluten free Sponge flavours, but the apple crumble is my favourite. Will be ordering again and again!

• Ordered this for delivery direct to my sister and brother in law. They were thrilled to receive such a lovely surprise. Well presented with "crumbs" napkins, the cake was a fair size and very well made. They tell me it was simply delicious and such a treat being gluten free. The cake is freezable too so they have put away a couple of slices to enjoy in a few days.

• The sponge was light and moist, the cream soft and fragrant. The Apple pieces were a lovely addition. Can’t fault it. Gluten free cakes can sometimes be dry and crumbly, this certainly wasn’t!

• Gluten Free Apple Crumble is one of the best cakes both GF and non GF that Sponge produce. You really cant tell its Gluten Free, the sponge is moist with large lumps of apple and that mixed with the cinnamon sugar icing is brilliant.
