• This could be our new favourite. Rich and moist and loaded with delicious crunchy pecans. The distinctive maple syrup taste makes for a touch of luxury and a cosy autumnal feel.

• Absolutely delicious. I added an occasional blob of extra thick cream which added to the experience. It's nice to have a good fruit cake type option. Much appreciated.

• I and my husband ate this cake for my birthday. It was especially ordered for our taste as we enjoy cake which is not iced and has fruit or nuts combined in it.

• Delivery was a day late using Royal Mail. Received a email from them saying will be delivered on Friday but turned up on the Saturday.
