Most of us are about to experience the first royal coronation of our life time on the 6th of May 2023. It’s been 70 years since the previous coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. And now we are about to see His Majesty, King Charles III officially ascend to the throne.
The coronation of a British monarch is a highly ceremonial and symbolic event that marks the formal investiture of the monarch with regal power and authority. The ceremony is usually held in Westminster Abbey, London, and is attended by many dignitaries, including members of the royal family, government officials, and foreign diplomats.
There will be street parties and gatherings all over the UK to celebrate this extremely special occasion. Neighbours, friends, and family members will be coming together to watch and celebrate the coronation proceedings. There will be lots of food and drinks, and we think the best way to complete the festivities is with a delicious cake.

All of our coronation cakes can be delivered straight to your door, and we deliver cakes across the UK. We offer next day delivery when you order by 3pm. However, as this is such a special occasion, we recommend that you select a delivery day a day or two in advance of the coronation. Our cakes stay fresh for up to 10 days from the date of dispatch, so even if they do arrive a couple of days early, they will still be delicious on the coronation day.
