We are delivering to Northern Ireland!
As you may be aware over the last year or so, we have had to suspend our cake delivery service to Northern Ireland. There were a few challenges preventing us from being able to deliver this service, such as customs requirements, and our regular courier being unable to continue their service in the area.
But we are pleased to announce that we are delivering our cakes and other goodies to Northern Ireland again!
We were keen to get our cake delivery service up and running in Northern Ireland again so that our lovely customers across Northern Ireland could have their Sponge celebration cakes delivered to their homes again, or the homes of their loved ones. So, we’ve been looking at ways in which we would be able to deliver to you again. We’ve teamed up with Royal Mail to be able to get your cakes to you, whether you’re in Belfast, Armagh, Enniskillen, Londonderry, Coleraine, or anywhere in between in Northern Ireland.
There is some limitation to the delivery service still, as there is a weight limit of around 2kg per delivery, which means that you will only be able to receive one cake per delivery (this is a cake up to the size of a cake for 16). For most people, this will be more than okay, as you most likely only want to purchase one cake for a party or event. While we do understand that everyone’s requirements are different, we will review our Northern Ireland Cake Delivery service in the future so that everyone across the UK can get the celebration cakes they need delivered to their door.
Sponge has a great range of cakes and brownies available for delivery across Northern Ireland. Whether you are looking for an extra special cake to wow the birthday person (our pinata cakes are great for this), or are looking for a simple cake for an afternoon treat, you’ll be able to get it delivered to you.
If you’re looking for a cake to suit a dietary requirement, we can deliver those to you too. We have gluten free cakes, dairy free cakes, vegan cakes, and gluten and dairy free cakes available to be sent in the post. All of these cakes would be ideal as birthday cakes, or for any other celebration, and we’re confident everyone will enjoy our free from cakes. We’ve had great compliments on our free from ranges, with many customers complimenting them and saying that they taste as good as our standard cakes.
Don’t worry about them getting damaged in transit. Our sponge cakes are packaged in secure and robust packaging. The inner box is wrapped around the cake to securely hold it in place so the sides and top do not get damaged in transit. The box also includes a handy cutting guide! It is then put in a strong cardboard outer box for extra protection so it will arrive to you safely.
