Are you nutty about nuts? Nuts are a great source of protein and a healthy snack to enjoy when you are just grazing. National Nut Day is observed this year on the 22nd of October 2021. This National Day isn’t as old as some others, it was created in 2015 by the Liberations Food Company to highlight the importance of nuts in a person’s diet. It was also created to stress to the public that nuts should be sustainably grown, and that nut farmers need to be given a fair minimum wage.
There are many types of nuts and many are grown all over the world, so it is important for a lot of people know that a Fair Trade collective is established, as this means employees of the farm where your nuts are sourced are being treated and paid fairly for the work they do.

Juicy sultanas, free range eggs, lemon juice, gluten free flour mix and ground almonds create this fruity sponge. Quality apricot jam binds the sponge together and demerara sugar is dusted on top for added crunch.
Hazelnut Praline Brownie - Hazelnut lovers rejoice! This decadent and creamy Hazelnut Praline brownie is a nutella lover's dream! The rich and gooey chocolate brownie has hazelnut praline and roasted hazelnut pieces running through it. It is then topped with more hazelnut pieces and spun in deliciously dark chocolate. It is available as a standard brownie or a gluten free brownie.
