Well, the weather has definitely changed, it’s very autumnal all of a sudden. With the change in weather, we will be spending more time indoors, finding ways to keep ourselves feeling cosy. A great way to get warm ourselves up is with food. A key thing with food that warms us up is the flavours, there are certain combinations that create a wonderful warming feeling within us.
We’ve just released a delicious new cake slice for our Cake Cards that is perfect to enjoy in the cold weather. If you love the taste of a crumble in the cold weather, and the combination of apple and blackberry, then you will love our Apple and Blackberry Crumble Cake slice.
Blackberries and real apple pieces run wild through this cinnamon-spiced cake slice. Vanilla buttercream sandwiches the sponge and the crumble pieces scattered on top give the cake both a bit of crunch and its show-stopping appearance.

We have plenty to choose from, classic flavours such as Victoria, chocolate, and coffee, along with other less traditional cake flavours. There are also lots of added extras to pop inside the box with your cake, including drinks to warm your cockles such as tea, coffee, or hot chocolate sachets, and even a limited edition Spiced Pumpkin Rum Punch Cocktail - a warming autumnal spiced rum-based cocktail flavoured with peach and pumpkin.
Depending on the delivery date you have selected, orders will usually be despatched two days prior to your delivery date. You can pre-order for a future date / special occasion. We always recommend selecting a delivery date a day earlier than intended, just in case of any unforeseen issues.
All cake card orders are posted out on Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service. We will provide a tracking number so you can see where your order has got to. Royal Mail aim to deliver 96% of tracked items on time, including Saturdays, although this is not a guaranteed service.
Once you have placed your order, we will keep you updated via email with a confirmation of your purchase, delivery details, and when your card is on its way.
