Do you just love taking a selfie? Or do you have some special photo’s that you adore, perhaps with friends or family members? Maybe you just enjoy some pictures of nature that you’ve previously taken. Whatever your preferred genre of photography is, there’s a special day set aside each year which is a great excuse to share them with your loved ones. World Photo Day is on the 19th of August 2021 – the day is specifically designed to inspire photographers worldwide to share a single photo with a simple purpose; to share your world with others, and if it persuades others to take photography up as a hobby or a career along the way even better!
You don’t have to be a professional photographer to get involved in this day, we think it’s a great excuse just to share your love through the medium of photography. Whether you share those photographs on social media, or you want to share them as a printed photograph, we’re sure everyone will love seeing and sharing their own favourite photo’s.
We have another great way you can share your favourite photo with loved ones and friends; a photo card from Cake Card! All you need to do is go through your photo album, maybe on your phone, a physical photo album, or your social media accounts, and pick your favourite one intended for your recipient. Then you just need to select the photo card option from on our website and then you can upload your photo be printed for the Cake Card!
You can write your own special message inside the card as well – for what is a card, without a message written by you to your loved one. There are a few font options to choose from in our font list, so you can pick one to suit your personality or message.
The next step is rather important, as you may know by now, our Cake Cards aren’t just boring normal cards, you can add a slice or two of yummy cake inside the card. We have lots of cake slice flavours to choose from so we are sure you’ll be able to find the perfect one (or two) to send in your card. Along with standard flavours, there are also gluten free cake slices and vegan cake slices to choose from as well, so everyone can enjoy a delicious slice of cake.
Finally, there are lots of extras you can choose from to include in the card, such as tea, coffee, and hot chocolate sachets, sweets, cocktails, and more!
Photo Card Delivery
Depending on the delivery date you have selected, orders will usually be despatched two days prior to your delivery date. You can pre-order for a future date / special occasion. We always recommend selecting a delivery date a day earlier than intended, just in case of any unforeseen issues.
All cake card orders are posted out on Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service. We will provide a tracking number so you can see where your order has got to. Royal Mail aim to deliver 96% of tracked items on time, including Saturdays, although this is not a guaranteed service.
Once you have placed your order, we will keep you updated via email with a confirmation of your purchase, delivery details, and when your card is on its way.
