Our Favourite Brownie Flavours

We are mad about everything cake and cake-related at Sponge – we work hard to make sure we have a wonderful range of cakey treats for our customers to order. That’s why we are so excited about our brownie developments! We absolutely adore brownies – our favourites overall are the chewy chocolatey versions. But everyone has their favourite flavours, so we’ve had a little chat and here’s what some of us had to say.

Mark the Captain at Sponge – Mark loves a sweet treat and he has decided that is all-time favourite brownie flavour is Salted Caramel. There’s nothing better than that sweet caramel with the hint of savoury coming through from the subtle saltiness and chocolate throughout every bite.

Bryony our Brownie Specialist – “Chocolate Orange by far!” she just loves the classic combination of rich chocolatey flavour mixed with the burst of refreshing orange citrus in a gooey brownie, with a crispy crackly top.

Charly our Marketing Manager – White Chocolate and Raspberry Brownies, hands down, the best brownies. In Charly’s opinion, you can’t beat the sweetness of white chocolate with the sharpness of raspberry. They complement and balance each other so well, it’s a great experience eating these yummy brownies.

Richard our Head of Sponge Trade sale & Corporate business – “I’d have to say, Kinder Bueno Brownies” – Richard loves the hazelnut taste with chocolate, and with kinder Bueno pieces on top it gives these brownies extra texture that is a great combination with gooey, chewy brownies.

Jaison our SEO & Analytics Executive – Mint Chocolate Brownies. “I just love the fresh feeling after eating a combination of mint and chocolate.” In his opinion, these are the best choice, but he is mad about anything mint chocolate. It’s his favourite flavour combination of all time.

As you can tell, we all have our own opinions on what brownies we would go for. What would you choose?
