NEW Prosecco cake – A delicious cake flavoured with Prosecco & Strawberry
What could be better on a summer’s day, sitting in the garden, than prosecco and cake. When you’re celebrating something special, you need a cake. It’s a simple as that, it’s not a proper celebration without a yummy cake. And a bubbly glass of Prosecco doesn’t go a miss either. They go great together, that’s why you’ll often find a sparkling afternoon tea option on a menu.
We have been working hard in the bakery to create our NEW Prosecco cake, handmade by our bakers.
Our limited-edition three-layered sponge is perfect for summer celebrations with lovely light tones of prosecco pairing beautifully with sweet strawberries.
The light and summery sponge is flavoured with prosecco and has strawberry pieces running through it. It is sandwiched together with a layer of prosecco flavoured buttercream and a layer of sweet strawberry buttercream. On top, you will find more prosecco buttercream, a smattering of strawberries and a dusting of strawberry powder. The perfect cake for lovers of this popular Italian tipple!
