Hand Decorated Sponge for Birthday Boy!

I won't be quitting my job in forensics to become a cake decorator, but as a first attempt for my sons first birthday, I'm not unhappy!

The butter cream is heavenly by the way, glad I've got some left over to eat with a spoon straight from the pot!
