Sponge Milkcake Moments!

"Hello, I had my first 'Sponge' encounter at yesterday's Christmas market in Lincoln and bought a superb Apple Crumble cake. But this morning I woke up with a roaring sore throat and couldn't swallow a thing. As a cake addict, this was something of a dilemma as I need a set number of slices of cake each day, but I thought of a way around it - I made a cake milkshake (a "milk-cake"?!) by blitzing up the cake with some milk (see attached pic). It went down an absolute treat - I highly recommend it! And I'm not just saying this, but my throat feels better already. Hopefully I'll be fit to tackle the rest of the cake soon!
