Winning Sponge Moment!

"Dear Sponge, these photos show my two little scamps tucking in to 8 dinky slices of Sponges from our Variety Minis box.

We were off to my cousin’s wedding that day and knew the children wouldn’t be able to wait until 3 o’clock to eat the Wedding Breakfast, but didn’t want them having a full lunch. Slices of the Sponge Family & cups of tea were the ideal solution. Their faces show how excited they were about this unusual brunch!

One hour later these two were dressed in their finery, raring to go. Thanks Sponge for giving our children a very special pre-wedding treat."

Cake for your thoughts!

A week on from the launch of the new website and we've received some fantastic feedback (click here to read all the comments). As we said last week, we'll reward the best with a box of Baby Sponge cakes.

This week, Sandra bags the swag..."Just wanted to give some feedback on the new website-smashing! Additional content brings more excitement & depth to the brand, I didn’t think it could be improved! I like the structuring of the product into occasions, makes it very easy to buy. Shame wedges have gone, but increased customisation is welcome.

Only thing I couldn’t find is a description of the 'Sharing' cakes. The old website had a description of the cake selections in the 'Traditional' and 'Quirky', but I may not have looked carefully, so please accept my apologies if my tired old brain is not paying attention..!"
