Knives for cake!
Our cake-loving friends at Cutting Edge Knives are big fans of SPONGE, running a regular 'cake for knives' photo competition for their customers, so we thought we'd get together with them for a 'knives for cake' giveaway!
Very fitting for Halloween, for a chance to win the scary sharp Santoku General Purpose Knife (worth £108) and a Super Sharing Sponge, all you have to do is complete the entry form on the right.
The prizes:
The Masakage Yuki Santoku 6.5" (165mm) aka Santoku General Purpose Knife: "This was the first of the Japanese knives we got our hands on and we all instantly fell in love with it. The white handle and mottled blade are so strikingly beautiful. To cap it off though it cuts beautifully. Looking like a small chef's knife, the Santoku (san-too-koo) is a Japanese knife used for chopping vegetables and meats. It's possible it might become your new favourite knife."

Terms and Conditions
1. Open to UK, residents aged 18 or over, except employees of Sponge Cakes Ltd and their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.
2. All entries must be received by 11.59pm on Sunday 4th November 2012.
3. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other alternatives to the prizes are available. However, the Promoter reserves the right to provide alternative prizes of equal value if, due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, the stated prizes are no longer available.
4. No bulk, third party or organised group entries will be accepted.
5. Winners will be selected in a random draw. Winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the closing date.
6. In the event that no contact has been made within 7 days the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and rearward it to a reserve winner.
